Tammy and Kevin's wedding day started in the early morning at Tammy's childhood home in San Francisco. Both Tammy and Kevin are Chinese and grew up with a very Asian American lifestyle. They wanted to honor their Chinese roots with a Tea Ceremony and to make it special, hosted it in her childhood home, where they and her family shared so many memories. It was a morning full of cooking, eating, and celebrating.

Later in the afternoon, we all made our way over to the other side of the Bay--San Jose! Tammy got dressed in the beautiful bridal room with the help from her two sisters/bridesmaids. As we prepared for Tammy and Kevin's first look, things got emotional as her sisters and cousins saw her in her wedding dress... can't say my viewfinder did not fog up as well. Once she was ready, we headed out to a private spot for their first look. Beforehand, I asked Kevin how he was feeling, and he said he was nervous, but overall feeling ok. What a lie... the moment he laid eyes on her, he started crying with joy. What a sweet moment to witness!

Finally it was time for their ceremony...

When I say "finally," I mean finally! The two have been together since 2008... over 13 years ago! They're high school sweethearts who have stood by one another for all their growing years. They knew it, their friends knew it, and their family knew... this day was coming and it's finally here. You can definitely feel the buildup as Kevin and Tammy walked down the aisle. It was truly a moment worth waiting for.

After the ceremony, we snuck away for some couples portraits with the beautiful sun setting right behind them. Boulder Ridge Golf Club was really bringing in the views! These rolling green hills were the perfect place for their portraits and we got to witness their beautiful wedding sunset together.

We ended the night inside the reception space at Boulder Ridge Golf Club. The delicate gold details matched perfectly with the neutrals in the room.

When Tammy and Kevin made their grand entrance, the room was filled with cheer as they transitioned into their first dance as a married couple. Afterwards, they each shared a special moment with their parents with a dance that had everyone in tears. You could just see the love everyone had for this couple and the love this couple had for them. And if the guests had not cried at this point, they definitely shed a couple tears this night. What a special night to remember.
