My story starts at my parents’ love story. As obvious as it is, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for my parents meeting each other and falling in love.
Maggie and Chuck are my parents and they’re approaching their 33rd anniversary.
I made my parents dress up and took them to a park they used to bring us kids to all the time–Central Park, Fremont. My mom and I were on the search for the wildflowers around the lake, which turned out to be a nice time strolling around a park we had not gone to since I was a kid.
When I was a kid, I rarely ever saw my parents hold hands, kiss, or even hug one another. But now that us kids are older, my parents have been going on adventures together, road trips, and showing their affection to one another more openly.
I guess it’s kinda cute. 😉
Congratulations to my parents, Maggie and Chuck!
