At the end of 2016, I was able to travel internationally for the first time with friends (and without my parents! #adulting) to both Budapest, Hungary and Berlin, Germany. The hardest part of travel photography is bringing your big fat DSLR, so the following images were all taken with my iPhone and sometimes with a wide angle Moment lens. Now here’s a quote by award-winning photographer, Chase Jarvis, to justify not bringing a DSLR:
“The best camera, is the one that is with you.” -Chase Jarvis
Ok, let’s begin! =)
Places I Went (in order shown): Berlin TXL Airport, Berlin Metro, Budapest (the building across our Airbnb), Chain Bridge, Statue of old time Hungarian Police Officer, St. Ivstvan’s Basilica, Streets of Budapest, Parliament, Memorial of the Christmas Market attack in Berlin, Streets of Berlin, Brandenburg Gate, Memorial of the Murdered Jews of Europe, Museum für Naturkunde Berlin, Mustafas Gemüse Kebab (döner), Zoo Berlin, Aquarium Berlin, Café Noura, Memorial to the Sinti and Roma, and the last image is my backpack stuffed with goodies to bring home. =)
I hope you enjoyed taking a peek into my time in Germany and Hungary! But now that I’m back, the weddings shall continue!
